possible relocation of trip 9/26-9/28

I thought the river trail was the main trail head. What is the alternative? Definitely looking for the shortest route for my 16-year-old.

Shadow Creek is the default permit for Ediza. The trail head is Agnew Meadows.

It shows the three “permitted” trails starting at the same trailhead (Agnew Meadows). Note that the “River Trail” and “Shadow Creek” trail follow the same route for the first 2.5 miles.

This late in the season, your chances are excellent for getting whatever permit you need as a walk-up; just have a backup destination just in case.
