Conditions request: cirque pass

Anyone been over cirque pass this season? I'm hoping to cross it from lower Pal lake to Pal basin this coming weekend. Back in July 2017, the snow was too much for me to handle at the start of that section, but maybe a later start this year....

Hi Bob,
My buddy & I went through that segment (Potluck/Cirque) in August 2 years ago, and although there was plenty of snow, by late morning the conditions were fine for negotiating both passes. It'll be challenging, but "doable".

Cameron, thanks for the info. Interesting -- I was so intimidated by the snow at the start of that section just a couple of weeks before you went in 2017. I was alone then and feared the worst, which is why I didn't even try. This time around, I'll be with 2 other people.
