Condition request- Crabtree-Sky Blue Pass

Has anyone been over or peeked over this pass? I hope to do it in a week. CalTopo snow map shows most of the snow is gone at the steeper part up top. There is a snow bench if you traverse north, and I planned on doing that. I saw this last time I was at the upper Crabtree Lake and it looked to have a moderate angle. Getting around the north shore of the lake could also be difficult if steep snow runs all the way down to the water. I am hoping not to have to carry crampons.

Just wondering, Wanderingdaisy, did you go over Crabtree Pass as planned? I'm planning to go over the pass next week and my partner is not experienced on snow travel. Can you give me an update on conditions? Thanks!
