The "sign" people have to be kidding. No one reads signs. No one. "Don't cut switchbacks" and then I see huge scars all over the trail. "No dogs" or "dogs on leash" and every other dog owner ignores it, or lets their dog wander around off-leash. "Speed limit 25MPH" and everyone is driving 45. You guys seriously need to wake up. Signs are completely and utterly useless. Especially in a place like Yosemite, where everywhere you go, there's signs. You ever hear of sign pollution? People stop paying attention when there are too many signs. Adding yet another sign that states the plainly obvious is a preposterous idea. So is the idea that it is anything other than the individual's responsibility when choosing to cross a bridge in such conditions.
