sketchbook 2019

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. I've been traveling a ton this summer...barely time to squeeze in a few backpacking trips, and most of those were with a trail crew. Hopefully things will slow down a bit after the first week of November. But this year I'll end up flying nearly 100,000 miles. Ugh. I try fitting in a bit of painting when I can...

Really like numbers 1 and 4 of the original set as well as the Convict Lake image. Wish that i had some artistic talent.
My creative pursuits are pretty much limited to making furniture in the craftsman style.
