Road Closure and Advisory:
Highway 120 is closed South of Crane Flat Road due to a spot fire that broke out at 5 AM this morning.
Due to the 40 acre spot fire in the Ned’s Gulch area, our office is issuing an Evacuation Advisory for the areas East of Cherry Lake Road - West of Crane Flat Road which includes;
Camp Mather
Rush Creek Lodge
Evergreen Lodge
Spinning Wheel
Yosemite Lake/Thousand Trails Campground
Sawmill Mountain
Camp Tawonga
Peach Growers
Berkeley Camp
This is an advisement only of a potential Evacuation Order, should conditions change.
An advisory means there is potential for evacuation and residents should be prepared to evacuate if evacuation orders are necessary.
Our office continues to work closely with USFS and CalFire in monitoring fire activity. Fire officials have delegated all resources available and are confident in their strategy to contain the spot fire.
In the event an evacuation is needed we will issue further orders.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
