Thanks for sharing this picture. That's what's amazing about the Sierra Nevada. If you didn't know it, you'd think all was well just by all the snow and ice on the lake, that there isn't a drought even though we had another dry year. I can only imagine what the lake must have looked like last year when we had the deluge. It must have been under seven feet of snow. Can't wait to see the rest of your pictures.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Absolutely will have some shots going down into Goddard Canyon...9 day solo trip. just need to finish honey-do's now before doing a writeup.

Yes quite the teaser. One seldom thinks of getting in that deep as of 6-18. I can't help notice a bit of open water along the shore here and there, too....
