Anyone know when Coyote Flat road opens?

I was planning on 4x4 driving out to here and backpacking from there. Anyone knows when the road opens?

I saw a post 2 weeks ago on a different forum a guy in a CJ made it to Funnel Lake. The road never "closes" it's the snow that blocks it. There were work arounds for him. Given the temps in the last week. I'd go.

A friend on the Sportsmobile Forum just posted TR and updates. He went up from the Bishop side. He reports that a Jeep Rubicon went up from the west side and had difficulty. Begin reading in the thread at this post. (I hope this is the same Coyote Flat(s) and not like "Twin Lakes"). I also realize the OP was made over 3 months ago.
