Curious about the snow levels along the Reds Meadow Road? Here are is photo from the Minaret Vista entrance station taken 5/17/17. Yes, it was snowing that day as well. Right now, there is no estimated date for the road to open.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Inyo NF site now shows Reds Meadow Road and Minaret Fall Campgrounds opening dates as 7/15.
