Bishop to South lake - 15th June

Bishop to South lake - 15th June

Looking to get the Bishop pass trailhead on the 15th of June. I've heard of the estransit new bus shuttle, but it starts the 17th (planned anyway) and permits are already taken for later dates. Any ideas for getting up there around that time, is it an ok ride to hitch? Any forum members in that area willing to give me a ride by any chance?
