HST Matchathon 12/24/16 thru 1/24/17
HST has brought me many years of joy, invaluable backpacking information, and most importantly, meaningful lifetime friendships. If you too have benefited from being a HST member and would like to help out with the expenses that Eric incurres from running HST, then please consider my following proposition below.
Would like to call on all my fellow HST members to donate between $5-$10 ( or more ) to HST, and I will match 20.17% of the total, all donations will count as a $10 donation, whether it is less or more.
Please chime in on this thread so I know that you have donated, do not include the amount, then on 1/1/17 I will tally up the posts here and then make my donation of 20.17% of the total.
The "Donation" tab is located at the bottom, left hand corner, of each page.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Done. I hope the fact it's technically still 12/23 is not an issue.
Happy Holidays!
And thanks, Mav. A great holiday gift.

I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

I donated earlier this year but I pretty much live on this site :retard: so I donated again as long as you're matching a portion.
A great idea, Mav! Now George Bailey won't lose the Building and Loan
