Pleasant Canyon 4x4 and Slims Pk dayclimb

I met Lewis at Ballarat Thurs night. Fri we drove up Pleasant Canyon to World Beater Mine and followed the mining road to a saddle. We hiked Slims Peak, the last entry being 2005. The only other vehicle was another blue FJ, which turned out to be Paul Skinner. Later, we met up with the rest of the group (Desert Mouse, Gina, DaveG) at Thorndike Campground.
