Recent adventures in Central Oregon

Post by oldranger »

Over the past couple of weeks I have fished the Cascades and hike in the Badlands and in the Cascades. Next week I return to the Sierra.

Mike,

Mt Bachelor looks like a fun mountain to climb.

I should climb those three Sisters as well.

Thanks for the report. Have fun in the Sierra!

Thanks for the TR and pictures. Interesting that Green Lake is still just thawing out, does it usually take till July to completely out Mike?

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

I'm not sure. Never been up there this early in a basically "normal" year. Have been up later in July when there was actually more snow but the lake was open. Camped at Green Lakes in early August when there were still snow banks available to ice drinks.
