Does anyone recognize this mountain?

A place to explore the natural setting (geology, flora & fauna), people, constructed infrastructure and historical events that play and have played a part in shaping the Sierra Nevada as we know it today.

Does anyone recognize this mountain?

This is an oil painting by Lynn Winans, completed in 1979. He was a plein air painter, based in San Diego that painted extensively in the Sierras.

Does anyone recognize the peak? Perhaps have a picture?
