Little Lakes Valley in late June?

Any input on what I can expect snow-wise? Thinking of heading in with the kids (ages 6 and 9) the last week of June. Most interested in trail conditions, as we hike with barefoot sneaker style shoes, rather than heavy boots (that work better in some snow and mud...)

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
