Hi Brandy,did you notice the conditions of the South Fork trail area as it climbs above the creek up to the Willow Lake area?

I'm sorry, Dave...I didn't. It was my first time in hiking Big Pine and I had my eyes set on the NF trail.

great pictures Brandy!! Thank you for sharing them. When it all melts, it ought to be spectacular. Your hotel day hiking is a good one. I'll run it by my newbie and we'll see. My heart is almost always set on the eastern sierras. :)
