Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.
In a couple weeks I'll be heading down to Southern California (Escondido... my home town) to participate in the 2007 "Relay For Life", one of the awareness/fundraising programs by American Cancer Society, with some of my family members.
I don't need to list all the reasons for supporting the A.C.S., their accolades speak for themselves. If you're not able to participate in any of your local "Relay For Life" events, and would like to contribute, here's the link:
