Assuming you kept it from your post. Also assuming you ate it. What the the prep and how did the bull taste?

Very nice Mike! Would be interested too in how it tasted, if you ate it.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.

Will be smoking it today along with the 7 lb. mack I caught 2 weeks ago. Last night ate the 4 kokanee I also kept. I can't imagine fish tasting better than barbecued kokes.

our local Koke lake (well except for the 10 miles of gravel road to get to it). http://www.kokaneepower.org/phpBB3/view ... f=6&t=2001 It was a fun lake until the drought.
Mike, are you just smoking them or doing spices as well with the bull? and the mack?

Ok, both the Bull trout and Mack came out great smoked. Mixed up 2 cups brown sugar with 1/2 c salt (about 1/2 smoked salt and the other non iodized sea salt), some dill, some garlic and spread mix over the fish dry and left for about 6 hours. Then wiped off the filets and stored in the refrigerator. Smoked about 5 1/2 hours. About 1 hour before finishing basted with maple syrup.rlown wrote:our local Koke lake (well except for the 10 miles of gravel road to get to it). http://www.kokaneepower.org/phpBB3/view ... f=6&t=2001 It was a fun lake until the drought.
