A 4 peak day with Trailtrekker and SDsierrahiker, Tomcat and CinnamonGirl. A lot of ups and downs on this hike.

SnowDude and I sold our townhouse, and the movers will be here Monday. We'll be homeless til our new home is finished mid July. We'll be in a tiny apartment until then, and I still don't know if we'll have internet service
So, off to pack more boxes so I can still get out for the weekend!
If I get everything packed, I'll get the Cerro Gordo photos up before SnowDude packs the computer away (3 more days).

I've been wanting to do Cerro Gordo mainly because we see it just about every weekend, so this was a good day for it. Got to visit Mike Patterson and got the Cerro Gordo tour, and also ran into Matt Swain taking a lunch break. Short hike, fun day with plenty of time to get home at a decent time (gotta pack for a move March 26th, without skipping a weekend in the mountains!)

Those are some pretty expansive views from Cerro Gordo. Don't know if I've ever seen pics of the Sierra quite like that! It's pretty impressive! Almost like viewing them from an airplane!
Really beautiful pictures SN! You all look so cute and sporty! I love the summit shot..should be in a magazine! Tom's pumpkin orange shirt is pretty bright!
Very cool snake skin shed & I love the lizard.
I would love to have seen the American Hotel at Cerro Gordo....looks like a lot of very cool old things there.
