Southern Wind River Range - Low Line Trail conditions

Planning a trip in about a month to south Wind River Range. A couple of years ago, I did the Low Line Trail from Poston Meadow (via Poston Lake) to Boundary Cr Trail, along wilderness border. The trail was basically obliterated by downed trees from blowdown event. I was hopping over trees and following GPS trail mostly rather a physical trail. I don't want to do that again. I don't think this trail gets used much, as this isn't the most desirable part of the Winds. Maybe it has been ignored for any trail work. Wondering if anyone has gone this way the past couple of years and if there is still a trail. Thanks in advance.

I doubt that trail will get cleared by the FS. It was a trail used primarily by horsemen particularly during hunting season. If it ever gets cleared it likely would be done by them. The "2020 Blowdown" was an extreme weather event and the Bridger Forest was hit hard. As if 2023, all the main trails had not even been fixed, let alone the less used ones.
I never considered that a desirable trail unless you specifically wanted to fish the East Fork. Why do you want to use it? The scenic part of the East Fork is above the Lowline Trail and is normally accessed via the Highline and Fremont trails, both parts of the Continental Divide Trail, both which are well maintained and more scenic.

Shoe,
You wrote your original post on May 28 and haven't been back since? Have you forsaken us?
