Lightweight breathable shirts and pants

Useful guides about lightweight clothes: I have:
  • Outdoor Research Echo Zip shirt
    - Extremely breathable.
  • Outdoor Research Astroman button-up shirt
    - Breathable and stretchy. I like the snap buttons - very quick to unbutton.
  • Mountain Hardwear Trail Sender pants
    - Light and breathable.
  • RailRiders Eco-Mesh Pant with Insect Shield
    - The review above complains about the cut. It doesn’t bother me. Trail Senders are lighter and more breathable.
  • Sunday Afternoons Ultra Adventure Hat
    - I like how the floppy back works better in the wind than a full brim. The holes for holding sunglasses work very well.
  • Outdoor Research ActiveIce Sun Gloves, but full finger coverage
    - They don’t make my hands too hot, but they do add some warmth, which is not good on hot days. Trekking poles wore them out after over a hundred days of heavy use.

Thanks, from a heavy sweater, I'm always looking to see how others do things. Good breakdown on the spreadsheet. Are you Deputy Sean?

Never tried the Activice sunshirt, but I like OR Activice Sunsleves paired with a short sleeve shirt. The extra ventilation helps a lot.

The Activice gloves mentioned are fine, but too expensive for how quickly I destroy them. Now I just use the lightest weight nitrile coated cloves I can find, usually from a hardware store. They last for several seasons scrambling over granite and clutching onto trekking poles.

I wondered when r/ultralight content would start making its appearance here.

Oh I'm aware, however, that's where Deputy originally shared those imgur albums.
