Independence Lake, Sierra County

In early June, I made the trek to Independence Lake, an absolute gem in Sierra County. On the way out, I had to stop at Perazzo Meadows, one of my favorite spots. The only thing better than the spectacular scenery was that I had both places all to myself!

I stabilized my videos last weekend using the Google Photos app. I was able to get rid of the "shaky hands" effect, albeit the scene transitions became a bit wonky; yet only on the transitions where the panning direction switches. So be it; at least from now on, I can stabilize the raw clips before I pull them into my editing app and finalize.
