"Crater Pass" to connect White Fork to Lake Marjorie?

Hello All. I'm looking at using "Crater Pass" to connect the upper White Fork with Lake Marjorie in SEKI. I can find no information on the forum (inc in the pass description section) for this route. Perhaps it is called something else. I feel like I actually did this pass years ago without much thought, but when I was there in a recent year it looked very steep and very loose on the north side above the upper of the Lake Marjorie lakes.

Is this a relatively difficult pass in the category of, say, Pants Pass? Is this a route that people use? If not, why not? Does it go by another name?

Thanks!

I crossed this pass in September 2014. I don't remember any difficulties.

Thanks Tomba. What direction did you go? Do you remember if you crossed it essentially at the low point in the saddle of the pass? Did you have to scout around at all to find a good way over or was it straightforward easy class 2 type thing?

I went from NE to SW. If I remember correctly I crossed close to the low point. I didn't do any scouting around. It was a pretty regular class 2 pass. I mentioned the route that included that pass in viewtopic.php?p=112895#p112895.

Thank you both! I shall consider this pass non-problematic. Tomba I enjoyed reading your old posts. Can't wait to get out there!
