Twin Islands Lake outlet crossing conditions?

Anyone travel between Lake Catherine and Blue Lake recently? I understand the crossing at Twin Island lakes can be deep so I'm wondering if it could be a problem given this wild year. I plan to be down there in about a week. Thanks!

I haven't been there too recently...but you're right it can be deep. However, the outlet right against the lake is pretty calm and can be easily waded through. Just stay right up against the lake instead of downstream towards the waterfall. And of course the bailout is to walk the ~1 mile around the lake. Enjoy that stunning area!
