Good year for White Mountains

I know the White Mountains are not the Sierra, but I posted here because a lot of folks do not read the other than Sierra sub-forum.
I have done three early season trips in the White Mountains where water sources are a major issue. This year there will likely be snowmelt up on top. If you have the mountaineering experience, Boundary Peak is a great hike that can be accessed from the east side very early. You can also go in farther south, camp below the top plateau and then peak-bag along the top.
I put in a trip report in the "Beyond Sierra" section.
