So, what was predicted to be a dry winter seems to be shaping up nicely.

unfortunately, there is a decent possibility that it will follow a similar trajectory as last year: a wet oct-dec followed by a dry new year.

Got my first day of resort snow skiing in Tuesday 12/6/22 at Kirkwood. Snow quality off groomed runs was excellent mid winter skier packed powder. Last January's right shoulder rotator cuff injury that ended last season, was not an issue. The KW base was already a modest 49 inches so with this current dump, the whole mountain ought be able to open up. Expect to drive back up to ski Tuesday or Wednesday. Too much fun for an old guy.
