R05 TR: Nice beginner overnight: Grizzly Lake

Frequently I see people on this forum asking for recommendations for a good beginner backpack. Recently I discovered Grizzly Lake which I think is a nice option for people looking for an easy hike to a pleasant lake in a scenic location.
Grizzly Lake is located near Iron Mountain in the northern Sierra National Forest. The lake is situated among trees in a striking rocky cirque at 8300' elevation. The lake is NOT in designated wilderness so a wilderness permit is not required. (With all the hassles of obtaining permits these days, this fact is a definite plus). The approach is only a mile and a half. The trail is in reasonable though not great condition. I didn't find evidence of high visitation, so you will likely have a tranquil outing.
Directions: From Oakhurst, take highway 41 north and turn east on Sky Ranch Road. Travel Sky Ranch Road for 22.5 miles to a small turnout on the north side of the road. The trailhead is on the south side of the road, marked by a small trail sign.
