Return, Spiller, Matterhorn Creeks - Water Availability

Hello All,

I have a rare chance this summer to make an extended backpack trip, and I have my eye on Northern Yosemite as I've never been to that region. My ideal route has me spending a night each in the meadows at the heads of each of these three canyons.

I normally plan to camp near lakes, thus water is never a question. But considering none of my desired campsites have lakes, I would be reliant upon the 3 creeks. Considering this is looking to be a dry year, can I expect to find water flowing around the 3 respective canyon heads? I'm not sure if these are seasonal or year round creeks, so I would appreciate any insights. I will be there last week of August.

If water will be a problem, I will have to re-route. I've made arrangements for a shuttle between Virginia Lakes and Twin Lakes so I can make a scenic point to point. I am super excited about it, but need to resolve the water question before finalizing.

Thanks for any input!

Anish

Have not been up Spiller, but Matterhorn won't go dry. And return has a lake near the upper end, with campsites...

Should be a great trip....
