High Sierra Topix

We were planning on NOT wrapping the cars, but my friend just called me from Mineral King and says the vehicles are wrapped at the trailhead for Sawtooth Pass. Should I go up there and risk it, or should I bring a tarp? Seems a bit late in the season for wrapping to still be necessary right? Or am I way off?

Park in the parking lot across from the ranger station. For some reason the marmots don't mess with the cars there. It's a very easy walk to the trail head from there.

Ya, I heard parking at the ranger station was good, but was wondering if it was worth the risk to save me that mile. Since, I thought that the marmots had plenty of flowers to eat at this time of year already : /

Take the little time it takes to wrap it, it will give you piece of mind and could save you a bunch of money.
