Whitebark Pass

Hello everyone 
Does anyone have any recent beta on the conditions regarding the north slope of Whitebark Pass?
And yes, I have been researching the forum for info on the pass from recent years
In September 2016, I climbed the north slope with relative ease, although it took my buddy and I about a half hour. But that was last year in the midst of the historic drought and before the epic snowfall this past winter. I'm going to be up there later this week (August 1st) and will be carrying an ice axe/crampons.
I'd love your guys' input on this so my group can travel safely and efficiently!
