Now that it aired it can be watched if full for free here:

Beautiful cinematography! The trailer portrayed it as a climate change documentary but it was 95% scenery, wildlife and sports.

Not really new info to anyone familiar with the range but well worth the watch for the fantastic HD footage and seeing familiar faces like our very own John Dittli!

Totally misnamed! Much of the video was outside the park and some parts focused on Sequoia. Did you notice that one sunset was really a sunrise reversed (or was it a sunrise that was really a sunset reversed? Anyhow it was looking up or down yosemite valley either there was a sunrise in the west or a sunset in the east. I'm old so I don't remember which I just remember it was wrong!)

It was a good show, nice photography, very "nature" oriented and yes, more broadly about the Sierra and climate change, not specifically about Yosemite. So I agree, a bit miss-labeled. The pika is one of my favorite animals - I see a lot in the Wind Rivers, less in the Sierra. This show really showed a lot of great pika footage.

It really brought up a point for me: go to Yosemite in the winter! I used to do this a lot more and need to start doing it again. I used to go the week before Christmas, and sit in the Awahanee Lodge and write my Christmas letters! Camping at Camp 4 is not that bad because they keep the bathrooms heated. Evenings can be spent in the Yosemite Lodge bar. (Sorry, I know all the names are officially changed, but I will still use the old names). Yosemite is really under-utilized in the winter - one time I swear there were less than 50 people in the entire valley.
