Yesterday afternoon, heavy rain caused debris flows along the recently burned area of the El Portal Road. Road crews are working to clear the debris and will continually assess the road for reopening throughout the day. There is a chance of additional thunderstorms in the area this afternoon.
The El Portal Road (continuation of Highway 140 to Yosemite Valley from El Portal) is closed due to debris flows. Access to Yosemite Valley is still possible via Big Oak Flat and Wawona Roads. Call 209/372-0200 (then dial 1 then 1) for any updates.

I don't give out specific route information, my belief is that it takes away from the whole adventure spirit of a trip, if you need every inch planned out, you'll have to get that from someone else.
