Any way to turn off the left side bar?
K, maybe it's just me, but i would like it not to be there. It's fine on the bottom of the page where some are, or where it used to be. If I could turn it off, that would be great as well.

Agree - the placement sucks. Move it to the bottom (or top, or even the right side?) or give us a way to turn it off if not using social media. I cannot read forums where the placement is now.

Still working on layout. Placement of what you're seeing is pretty common in websites developed in the past 5 years, but I believe there was an option to hide it that for some reason isn't showing up right now. I'll research it a bit tomorrow morning.
Curious - like the post window issue is it preventing you from seeing/doing things on here, or is this simply a matter of taste and you just don't like seeing it period? On my screen the only space it's taking up is the unused border (dark grey area).

On my screen, it overlaps the first few letters, each line of the contribution.ERIC wrote: Curious - like the post window issue is it preventing you from seeing/doing things on here, or is this simply a matter of taste and you just don't like seeing it period? But to be truthful, the placement itself is distracting...I do not mind your providing easy access to the nice colored box thingies, but does it have to be left, dead, center? Can you put it over the Smilies?
Or horizontal, right side, opposite "Subject" or the "normal?" ...anywhere else but there?
Please?
Mark

OK, I was fearing that might be the case.markskor wrote:On my screen, it overlaps the first few letters, each line of the contribution.

I'll fix it, Mark. "Left, dead, center" is the default - I didn't purposely place it there - I'm simply testing out the widget's functionality right now. It can be moved around. But the end result may still end up placing it in a spot that some (including you) may not find ideal.

I see the bar moving around. Any chance you can put it next to the HST logo?

Excellent job boss - nice place to put the boxes.
I was going to suggest somewhere else to "stick it", but took the high road instead.
Thanks again,
Mark
