Virginia Lake, July 2012
"On this proud and beautiful mountain we have lived hours of fraternal, warm and exalting nobility. Here for a few days we have ceased to be slaves and have really been men. It is hard to return to servitude."

Nice and useful view.RoguePhotonic wrote:Evolution Valley seen from Peak 11,751
For comparison, the same area from further away - from Mt Goddard (click for a larger version): Far away in the middle, slightly to the left, one can see the same lake 11092' as in upper left in your picture, under Snow Tongue Pass.
Peak 11,751', from which you took the picture, is hidden behind Mt McGee that's behind Davis Lk visible mid-left (behind other lakes).
Mt Humphreys is visible in top-right.
Zoom towards Snow Tongue Pass and Lk. 11092'. It looks easy from this side.
Zoom towards unmistakeable Mt Humphreys with Lk 11520' visible in the valley that leads to Alpine Col and The Keyhole.
