rhyang- are you doing to write a trip report of the Henry Coe trip? I had a 5-day trip planned and then got stuck all week on standby for jury duty. I fear that by next week it is going to be too hot and dry. Each year I try to do a get-in-shape trip at Henry Coe.

It was absolutely glorious -- green hills, wildflowers, active fish. I will try to set aside some time to post pics, but long story short I think you have a good few weeks at least. BTW The Dowdy Ranch entrance should open the weekend after next. Backcountry Weekend is this next weekend, same as the fishing opener, and will be a zoo.
