Re: 2013 Hike Photos
Week 18
I noticed that a number of images were not added to the sets right. In week 11 almost all the photos from South of Giraud Peak and dropping into Leconte Canyon were not added. Also most of my Photos in week 15 around Explorer Pass were not there. So if any of you wanted to see those areas I would check back in those sets again.

Thanks Rogue, I've subscribed to this thread and I look at every set when you post them. About to enjoy Week 18 over today's cup of morning coffee.

Re: 2013 Hike Photos
I’m another person who’s enjoyed following your saga. I especially appreciated the Cartridge Creek descent since I’ll never do it and it gave me the opportunity to at least see it. I also especially loved the Mt. Still summit views with the whispy clouds and Upper Basin sunset photos. Throughout your saga, I was continually amazed by how dry the landscape was due to the lack of snow.
Thanks for sharing your remarkable journey with the rest of us.

I don’t need a goal destination. I need a destination that meets my goals.

Re: 2013 Hike Photos
I looked at every single image over the last few weeks and must say this was one epic trip. Made the Sierra appear smaller from my computer screen, because obviously the viewer of these images doesn't have to do any of the walking. There were images from a lot of places I always wondered about and other places I never even considered travelable terrain, all giving me new ideas for future trips.
One thing I know for sure is that if I ever have the time to do a Pacific Crest Trail hike, I will do a 100+ day Sierra hike instead. There's really nothing much at all I care to see outside the Sierra worth all that time, while exploring the mountains I love like you did this summer looks like a much more rewarding way to spend all that time.
Awesome trip and just what I needed to lose myself in over morning coffee when the weather here turns to exo-planet conditions with -50F wind chills in the forecast...
