About the pic of Mike (11yo) in front of Baxter Lake and the huge cairn. Ater that day someone told me that near the lake (I imagine near this cairn) there is a warm springs. Does anyone know anything about this?

We visited Dragon Lake too and I think this is a pic of it
Also the video is my favorite video of all time,

When I previewed Dragon it came out fine.

Thanks for the trip report! Agreed with the other commenters -- we love to see reports, no matter how popular the areas reported may be. And I for one have never been on any part of this loop, so it's great to see it again and get more incentive for future trip planning. It helps to know that there's Blue Moon around every corner in that part of the Sierra, too. :P
