I have tried using these for two seasons now. Both trips, the velcro detached from the heel of the trail runner making them useless. They do keep the pebbles out of the shoe, but on trail runners made with lots of mesh, sand will still get into the shoe making it necessary to take the shoe off and empty the grit out. So, if you do get them, don't rely on the adhesive thats on the velcro. Do your own glue job.

Only thing new is a NeoAir regular, 14 oz. CampSaver had an outlet sale on top of a 20% sale, so it was $70 bucks. I've had the same Big 5 pad as Rogue, blue pad from Walmart, Thermarest Z lite, BA Air Core, Exped Synmat UL7, currently the same Prolite as Rogue. Still looking for the right one. If the NeoAir doesn't work, I might have to actually try a BA Q-Core in long/wide.

Looking for a Kencor rod.
I broke 2 rods this year and have heard good things about Kencors. I found out they are out of business...
I'd like a 6' 2-4# 2 piece if anybody has one. PM me. Thx!

Hey AusTex-

You might follow these links, one looks good, but has a limited selection and the other has a better selection, but the post is old. Perhaps he still has some of these rods in stock.

I can't say anything good or bad about Kencor, as I've never used one before.

Cheers!
