Re: Name this mountain!
I don't think the peak has a name but it is at the junction of the ridges leading to Echo peaks and Matthes crest.
Before GB rejected Rogues response I would have said the e. end of Echo peaks cluster.
Here is my pic from 2012 with a little local color and the Cockscomb also included.

Re: Name this mountain!
Actually peak is in fact Matthes Crest itself. The peak on the right of my photo (center of yours) is the southern end of the main and highest part of Matthes Crest. The peak on the left is actually the southern end of the Matthes Crest proper although it looks disconnected from it because the ridge swings westward between the two.oldranger wrote:I don't think the peak has a name but it is at the junction of the ridges leading to Echo peaks and Matthes crest.

Re: Name this mountain!
Rockchucker's pic looks like White Mountain Peak to me, from the east side.

Re: Name this mountain! (guess on Rockchucker's photo)
I'll guess Rockchucker's peak (first one) as Mt Montgomery and Boundary Peak the northernmost peaks of the White Mtns, taken from the east side of the White Mtns. The next photo is probably Mt Dubois which is the next one south.
