You don't have to give me info once you're past Piute Bridge btw, we only work in the Sierra NF and the park boundary is at the bridge. If the ferry is running, a round trip ticket is a lifesaver btw - the four miles around the lake is pretty ugly hot in the afternoons.

Cool. It sounds like the ferry is pending start up this weekend, so hopefully perfect timing. A ranger is going to check out the bridge on Sunday as there was some issue (vague) reported with it recently. Hope that's all good as well. I booked a stay at Mono Hot Springs this Sunday night as an early jumping off point.
