I took this one on a recent visit (with my wife) to Yosemite -
Fall colors in Ahwahnee Meadow
… yeah, it’s not a “High Sierra” shot, but I liked the way it turned out.

Already antsy for some thinner air-time in the high country, though the super high snow levels currently may push that way back into summer...so looking at some pics here to tide me over + add some.

An image from before fires changed this area forever.
JMT_1989_1123
Fish Creek trail looking north. The Rainbow fire burnt most of what is in the background, the Camp fire burned the foreground, and drought and beetles killed off a lot of what wasn't burned since this image was taken. This is late June 1989
