and another one from 2010 - sure wished I could get my daughter to come out there one more time, but even though she was the one who seemed the most into it back in those years, she just decided hiking isn't for her, it's not cool, etc - whatever...

Going and seeing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world while getting in shape isn't cool? Hate to know what IS cool. Maybe you should take her up Clyde Minaret and see if she enjoys that more.

you aren't around a lot of teenagers, are you? "been there done that" is all you're going to hear from her. she is flying to Japan this summer, spending a summer in a big city there. Can't go more in the opposite direction than that.

7 weeks... already packing food, deciding on camera gear. Probably won't see Rainbow Falls this summer, but we may just change our minds when we get close to Reds and stop there for the higher water level that is pretty certain this year
