Hi All
Just wondering, if the ferry is not running in August when we are there, has anyone ever walked from Quail Meadows to Vermillion Valley Resort on the actual lakebed?
Last year we took the trail around the lake and it was arduous, with a lot of elevation change. I'm thinking the lakebed should be pretty dry and hard around the edges now after a year or so of being dry, and might provide a nicer, flatter walking surface. (Last year we were advised not to walk on the lake as it was boggy.)
