Yes, I'm using just the mini burner with a snow peak 1.5. The hardware cloth, flashing, stove and lighter all fit perfectly in the pot. I use about 3/4 of an ounce of denatured alcohol for a two cup boil. I have field tested it in windy, snowy east coast(3,000 ft) conditions, and it boils in 6 minutes. I love the simplicity--no muss, no fuss and no moving parts to break way out in the wilderness.The alcohol ignites easily with just a spark from a disposable lighter, and primes in 15-20 seconds. Nice setup Vandman. You Appalachianders have been on the cutting edge of UL and Alcohol stoves for a while now. The 2 links at the bottom of your post was well worth the clicks to get there, some good stuff in deed. thanks for sharing.
