Corkscrew Peak and Little Corkscrew, Death Valley

A few of us got together to climb Corkscrew and Little Corkscrew Peaks. It was really windy with blue skies. I had a hot date in Mammoth, so when the pace slowed down on the first steep descent, I left the group to make better time getting out. It took me 3 hrs 45 min to drive to Mammoth, and I made it for our 9pm reservations at Nevado's. Fun day with friends!

Corkscrew is one of my favorite peaks, and this is my first time doing Little Corkscrew

Cory, you have my sympathy on the rotator cuff. I went through surgery for a torn labrum in Oct. of 2007. The part I hated the most was having to sleep in that sling contraption (sort of like a medieval torture device!).

Thank QuentinC,
I went for my pre-op appt today. Got the drugs and everything so I'll be ready on Monday. :puke:
I have a full thickness tear to the supraspinatus, partial thickness tear to the infraspinatus, and small tear to the labrum. I'll be back as soon as I get the ok to do so. No driving for 6 weeks. :crybaby:
