On rec dot gov, just made 2 more reservations for early August of low hanging fruit panoramic perspectives I've been looking at on topos for years. The first one or 2 nighter out of Sabrina goes towards George Lake. A 1.5k 2.6 mile effort. From there on second afternoon will dayhike climb up to a high late afternoon perspective of the whole upper South Fork of Bishop Creek basin. If weather doesn't cooperate on that day, have an optional second night and day to do so.

Second leisurely backpack starts a day or two later from the South Lake trailhead. The first day secured a permit for nearby Treasure Lakes as anything towards Bishop Pass has been reserved for months. Just a 1.1k 2.6 mile effort for this slow old guy. From Treasure Lakes, one cannot then go over Bishop Pass. Rather, I will traverse around the north end of Hurd Peak to base camp 2 or 3 nights above the east side of Long Lake with more privacy where few bother to visit since the trail is along the east short. Excellent views across colorful Chocolate Peak and the spectacular peaks east of Cloudripper to Agassiz. Expect to bring along my fishing gear.

Dense wildflowers at base of Mount Tallac volcanic geology rich slopes at Gilmore terrace. Sandworts, butterballs, single-stem senecio, spreading phlox, sulphur flower, mountain pretty face, Applegate's paintbrush. Large wind bent mountain white pine frame right. Partly backlit mid day from upper right single frame 6150x4100 pixels. Here downsized for web.

As one descends the Mount Tallac west slopes, wildflower species tend to increase and peak where those slopes terrace off on a bench above the ancient Glen Alpine glacier's inner canyon. The uneven terrace has many large trees. The northwest end of Gilmore Lake has the longest lingering basin snows and dense mountain hemlock. Within that forest southeastward of Gilmore Lake, densest flower zones tend to be in the sunny often rocky clearings between trees. In the denser forest zones, single-stem groundsel dominate. That is where I sited my delightful shaded camp on a never used surface, well away from any others or possible bear routes.

This Friday morning 7/12/2024, just uploaded my Gilmore Lake backpack content that includes 2 especially strong panoramas I mentioned as targets in my OP. Very flowery area I will be returning to in the future some late June.
