Mammoth Trail Closure

I called the Bass Lk station yesterday and was told that the Mammoth Trail was unmaintained and overgrown with heavy brush. I wanted to do this "Round the Minarets" trip: Clover Mdw > Sheep Ing > Granite Stairway > Lk Superior > HSR > Blue Lk Pass > Lk Harriet > Rockbound Lk > Sadler trail > Clover Mdw. Isberg is "open" and cleared of downers. Looks like I will need to change plans. Bushwhacking in the heat is a non-starter for me.
