Bear canisters needed for Desolation Wilderness

Grab your bear can or camp chair, kick your feet up and chew the fat about anything Sierra Nevada related that doesn't quite fit in any of the other forums. Within reason, (and the HST rules and guidelines) this is also an anything goes forum. Tell stories, discuss wilderness issues, music, or whatever else the High Sierra stirs up in your mind.

I see bears in town almost weekly.
In fact, we left our kitchen window open a crack last week and early in the morning a yearling came on in and ate cheesecake, avocados and almonds before I scared him back out the window.
Higher taxes never reduce the deficit. Governments spend whatever they take in and then whatever they can get away with.
