I just did the conventional trail route going past Peeler Lake, through Kerrick Meadows, over Seavey Pass, Smedberg Lake, then down to the PCT and up Matterhorn Canyon over Burro Pass before exiting by Iceberg Lake and down Little Slide Canyon, which I guess is an unmaintained trail.

Glad I asked, we've never gone that way. I really enjoy the Peeler to Snow, then Rock Island Pass, then the saddle to Rock Island Lake. From there a number of interesting routes present themselves. There is a fascinating high flat meadow due east of R.I.Lake, that leads down to Slide Canyon. Great part of the YNP.
