Great trip! You got some very nice images, we especially liked your black and whites Daisy. Never been on Cloud's Rest, and this makes me want to get up there all the more. Thanks.

Amazing photos, I’m still trying to learn how to post them for my TR, lol. We ended up at Hetch Hetchy during the same time period. Thanks for your help over the past weeks.

It is great to get a real perspective on how things are right now. I loved your narration and the photos. Like Harlen, I especially like the black and whites. The Half Dome from Glacier point with the snag and the clouds is especially lovely. And you must have been closer than my comfort range on the one of the rattlesnake. It really is dry in the Valley. When my wife and I tried the “nice trail next to Merced River” in April a few years ago, it was partially under water. Thanks for sharing!

Its been a minute since we've been to the valley, soo nice to see everything soo green!! Mirror lake actually has water in it, wowwww!! thanks for posting Wandering Daisy. As always, I enjoyed your trip and all the photos, love the panorama trail. Makes me miss the ditch and all the fun to be had. It's such a special place, brought back wonderful memories when we worked there. Thanks again :)

Thanks everyone. Did anyone notice the bird (Bluejay?) at the bottom of Vernal Falls (day 1 photo), next to the little rainbow? I did not notice this until I was processing the photo. I certainly did not plan on that bird being there, but it does add a lot to the photo.

I believe that your Bluejay is a Steller's Jay.

I thought the bird (it looks like a jay to me, too) was posing for your photo. He/she is perfectly composed by the rainbow and so I assumed it was intentional. Sometimes we get the nicest accidents.

Thanks for the report, I'm heading to Yosemite for the first time in the beginning of June, looking forward to seeing a lot of this in person.

Dear Wandering Daisy!

Thanks for a wonderful trip report and your great photos, which brought back memories of our recent trip to Yosemite Valley. Yosemite was definitely the high note of our February/March snowbird excursion to California. Your comment about low river levels in the valley is well taken. I don't remember the Merced River ever being so low as it was during our visit--and that is comparing it to August flows, albeit in the 60's. Guess that dates us.
